Tuesday-Monday

Today was Monday Tuesday and despite having a sign-up day in one of my more distant towns for work, it kinda sucked. We started the day off with not getting paid. Apparently our paycheck payer people thought it would be funny to identify checking accounts as savings accounts and vice versa....causing my check to be rejected by my bank. Maybe by Thursday folks.

Then of course we made it to Big Piney.....without half our folders. Apparently yours truly thought it would be a good idea to forget a whole box....along with blank paper.....and the extra printer cartridge. That's how I roll. In disaster mode. By the seat of my pants. Do you think it has anything to do with it was 11-12-13? Is that anything like Friday the 13th?

Good news is I got caught up on my annual golfing stories, cows coming off the forest stories, stories of babies filling the voids of lost husbands, hunting stories and sincere thank yous. Let us not forget the laughing at ourselves. We salvaged the day and we will be back tomorrow. Please pray that Thursdays sign-up day has all its folders, blank paper, extra printer cartridges. I'll be throwing in extra blank forms, some paper clips and a few "borrowed" pens.

    That stresses me out just thinking about it. And I would have bounced a crap load of checks had my paycheck gotten rejected by my bank. Come on, pay-check-writers!

    Oh my gosh, I can't even imagine! Sorry, but as a borrower from FSA I probably wouldn't have been very happy! Hopefully tomorrow goes better for you. We've gotten all of our paperwork in for next year's loan, so that's exciting :)

    As far as the paycheck, that REALLY sucks. Mine got messed up a coupe months ago and it jacked up a bunch of my direct payments out of my account. NOT FUN. Hopefully it gets resolved soon!

WILW: laugh 'til it hurts

[Linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday] A few years back, OKTrailerPark Friend and Snowboard Friend and I went to Canyons in Utah for a girls weekend. We had a slope side condo, reduced price lift tickets, wine and the resort swimming pool. Now when we vacation we do it up right. We snowboarded and rode the alpine slide by day and by night we soaked in the pool, wore sweatpants, cooked dinner in our condo, played cards, drank wine and watched this YouTube video....over and over and over and over. the.best.ab.workout.ever. Painting with a twist

I've seen several of my friends post pictures from their adventures of painting at various bachelorette parties and bridal showers. I was amazed that I don't have one single friend who isn't an accomplished artist! When Colorado Transplant Friend told me about the Arts Council's plan to bring Painting with a Twist to Green River I said to count me in! They chose Starry Tree for our masterpiece. When i showed up I was very disappointed to see a blank canvas staring back at me......and I mean blank! What the crap?! Where is my paint by number.....mine will never look like the "example" Here you can see the progression of my masterpiece....I think the most important thing is to finish the step and then put down the paint brush....anything I tried to "fix" yeah, that wasn't a good idea!
