Uncork & Un-Wined

Girlfriends, wine and fruit country of Palisade, CO and our bikes....what more could a girl ask for you might ask. Well in our case sunshine would have been nice.

We found a weekend we could all get away to Palisade to bike the vineyards and we were off. Mother Nature was off too and it rained all weekend. Luckily we were traveling with awesome girls and we just made the best of it. We still visited wineries and checked out some local hotspots. We had a good time and darted to some of the closer vineyards in between rainstorms. So although we didn't make the route on our bikes....I'm counting it because I'm not sure when we will all be able to make it back. Plus my biked liked its new Dakine tailgate pad and I actually unloaded my bike in Palisade so it totally counts.


And our shirts were a HIT. I even brought home orders for others....I should start a business.

WILW: laugh 'til it hurts

[Linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday] A few years back, OKTrailerPark Friend and Snowboard Friend and I went to Canyons in Utah for a girls weekend. We had a slope side condo, reduced price lift tickets, wine and the resort swimming pool. Now when we vacation we do it up right. We snowboarded and rode the alpine slide by day and by night we soaked in the pool, wore sweatpants, cooked dinner in our condo, played cards, drank wine and watched this YouTube video....over and over and over and over. the.best.ab.workout.ever. Whenever I'm having a sub-par day, I pull this video out. I mean I do have it favorited on my work computer even! If this video doesn't make you laugh, go to the emergency room NOW! GET A HOBBY - Let's be honest, I can't really afford many more hobbies. The upside of having a lot of hobbies, there is always room to devote more time and attention to said hobbies (especially since I have several "new" hobbies, less than 3 years old.
