There's always room for dessert

When I found out that the herders LOVE sweets, I knew that this was something I could deliver. I love to cook desserts that aren't good for me. The problem is then I proceed to eat said desserts. So its the perfect arrangement really, I cook yummy desserts, have my one allotted dessert and package the rest up to take to sheep camp. Win-win if you ask me.



Arejullio, is my favorite herder and I his favorite dessert deliverer. He is super nice and he gives me giant hugs when I take him goodies. Presumably, a hug is used because we don't actually speak the same language, but we can both understand the gratefulness of a hug. (I really need to get on that Spanish learning goal).

Unfortunately, life called and I wasn't able to hand deliver the goodies this time :(  but rest assured the rancher got my hug. ok that didn't really happen, but all the herders were grateful for some sugar!

And because I do what I want (and that I can't eat fast food anymore) I'm counting this as my "buy the person behind me in line's meal. Just call me a rebel.

WILW: laugh 'til it hurts

[Linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday] A few years back, OKTrailerPark Friend and Snowboard Friend and I went to Canyons in Utah for a girls weekend. We had a slope side condo, reduced price lift tickets, wine and the resort swimming pool. Now when we vacation we do it up right. We snowboarded and rode the alpine slide by day and by night we soaked in the pool, wore sweatpants, cooked dinner in our condo, played cards, drank wine and watched this YouTube video....over and over and over and over. the.best.ab.workout.ever. Whenever I'm having a sub-par day, I pull this video out. I mean I do have it favorited on my work computer even! If this video doesn't make you laugh, go to the emergency room NOW! it's a wrap: 2016 goals

Checking in again, halfway there on those 2016 goals. If you missed the story behind those goals, click here and here and here and here when I checked in at the end of each quarter. 1. GET A HOBBY - Let's be honest, I can't really afford many more hobbies. The upside of having a lot of hobbies, there is always room to devote more time and attention to said hobbies (especially since I have several "new" hobbies, less than 3 years old.
