Hotel accommodations were a problem during my tour of duty in Puerto Rico. Often times, we were driving back to San Juan over the weekend to have a place to stay for a night or two. We tried to plan our meals around things we wanted to see/do on our route. These are some of the sights we managed to squeeze in on our drives or for dinner. Sometimes dinner was a nice restaurant on the beach, sometimes it was a granola bar and a beer in our hotel room.

CARRY! What i'm loving wednesday: winter

[Linking up with Jamie at  This Kind of Love for What I'm Loving Wednesday!] One kind word can warm three winter months. ~Japanese Proverb I'm LOVING..........Winter I love winter! but I hate shoveling snow. As it snowed around here (finally AND 2 days in a row!), I thought about my hatred for shoveling snow....I think if it were either light before I went to work or after I got home, maybe shoveling wouldn't be so bad. So snow and winter go hand-in-hand, how can I love winter if I don't like shoveling snow?   Playing in it of course! Christmas markets, throwing snowballs, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, hot tubbing, cabins and fireplaces, hot snock-o-late, big snowflakes, crisp untouched fields blanketed in fresh snow. It's a clean slate and I love it! Have a great winter and enjoy all it has to offer! Jealousy is something that I never want to feel of others. I mean sure its there, the small things like I wish I had that snowboard or I wish I could wear those super cute tights and make them look good, but I honestly never, ever want to be so jealous of someone that it makes me miserable. So miserable that I can't see the world really turning outside my head and what I think I know. We know that if we are that miserable with ourselves and our feelings of jealousy....we are bound to be making those around us miserable too. We've all been there at one time or another....the jelouslee and the jealousor and neither one is a fun role to play. Jealously can feel like a lot of different things...it can look like a lot of different things.
